Thank you for visiting! My name is Jamie Tablason and I love illustrating for children and the young at heart. Through whimsical imagery and engaging characters, I hope to connect with my audience and inspire everyone to tell their own stories.
In addition to specializing in children's book illustration and educational products I enjoy painting landscapes and "architectural portraits". My paintings and prints are for sale in my store.
I received my BFA and MFA in illustration from CSU Long Beach, School of Art. I also teach illustration at my alma mater currently. I work and live in Lakewood, CA, with my husband and our two dogs, a basset hound and bulldog named Lucy and Teddy. Mahalo, thank you, gracias!
My favorite medium and media to work with is gouache on 100% cotton Stonehenge paper. I enjoy painting California landscapes and retro architecture.
